The humble compact disc (CD) is continuing to experience a revival as more consumers seek out physical copies of their favorite music, so brands are taking note with new products like the Shanling CT90 CD player. The unit is rated to make music from CD collections sound even better thanks to Hi-Res Audio upsampling alongside a linear power supply to reduce electrical noise. The system is equipped with a Philips DA11 mechanism alongside the Sanyo SAA7824 servo, while listeners can enjoy ample connectivity on the unit thanks to a USB-A port, two AES/EBU outputs, HDMI with support for I2S and more.
